Advocacy
AAHOA supports its membership through educational programs and
advocacy in the legislature, media, and hospitality industry. We
research and define our legislative and regulatory priorities and
provide members with all the information they need to address these
issues with their respective legislators.
From hosting legislative meetings in Washington, D.C.,
to participating in political processes at the local, regional, and
national levels, AAHOA lobbies for conditions in which the lodging
industry can grow and thrive.
Visit AAHOA's online advocacy site, www.AAHOAVotes.com to contact your
elected representatives about federal and state issues that are
important to you and your hotels!
AAHOA members who have not already done so are encouraged to sign the
Open Letter to Members of Congress in Opposition to the Employee
Free Choice Act (below) and fax it to the AAHOA office at (404)
816-2724. Nearly 2,000 signatures have already been
collected; don't let your voice go unheard on this important issue!
