Membership Renewal Contest Rules and Restrictions
All hoteliers who pay their 2008 AAHOA membership dues
in full, no later than December 31, 2007, will be eligible to win. The
drawing will be held at AAHOA’s Annual Convention in San Antonio,
Texas, on March 29, 2008.
AAHOA 2008 Membership Renewal Contest Rules and
Restrictions
All hoteliers who pay their 2008 AAHOA membership dues in full or
become Lifetime Members no later than December 31, 2007, are eligible to
win. Current AAHOA Lifetime and Lifetime Spouse members will
automatically be included in the drawing. The random drawing will be
held on March 29, 2008, during the 2008 AAHOA Annual Convention &
Trade Show in San Antonio, Texas. Employees of AAHOA, its board of
directors, Future Hoteliers, Founding Partners and Allied Members,
affiliated sponsors, media, and their respective immediate family
members, are NOT ELIGIBLE to participate. Winners do not need to
be present to win. The winners of each of the prizes will be
notified by telephone initially, and confirmed in writing via USPS mail,
or via other delivery service of AAHOA’s choice, including, but
not limited to, via fax or e-mail. The Membership Renewal Contest is
open to all legal U.S. and Canadian residents who are 18 years of age or
older as of 12:01 p.m., Eastern Time, Thursday, March 27, 2008.
PRIZES:
One (1) prize winner will receive (1) Plasma T.V.
Two (2) prize winners will each receive (1) HP® Laptop
Computer.
Three (3) prize winners will each receive an Apple® iTouch iPod
(8GB).
PRIZE CONDITIONS: No prize substitutions are
allowed, and prizes are non-transferable, except to immediate family
members of the winners (i.e., spouse, children, or parents). Each
of the winners will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and
Liability/Publicity Release (where permitted), to be returned within 14
days of the Contest date of March 29, 2008, or prizes may be
forfeited.
TERMS & CONDITIONS: This Membership Renewal
Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and
regulations. By participating, entrants agree to abide by and be bound
by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Contest Administrator,
and waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Membership Renewal Contest
or in these Official Rules. Only one (1) individual may be identified as
a participant of the Contest per 2008 Membership, Spousal Membership, or
Lifetime Membership Dues paid. By participating in or entering the
Contest, or accepting any of the prizes awarded, each of the
participants, entrants and winners agrees to release, discharge,
indemnify, and hold harmless AAHOA and its affiliated sponsors, Board of
Directors, employees, allied members, vendors, distributors, dealers,
exhibitors, advertising and promotion agencies, representatives, agents,
partners, independent contractors, and any and all other entities
directly associated with this Contest. Each of the participants or
entrants in the Contest, or winners of prizes awarded, acknowledge that
they did not receive any representations, warranties, or guarantees,
expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize,
including, but not limited to, its quality, mechanical condition, or
fitness for use. Winners must take delivery or notify AAHOA of
non-receipt of their prize within 45 days of the drawing date or forfeit
all rights to such prize.
TAXES AND IRS RULES: Winners are responsible for all
federal, state and local taxes, fees, assessments, and like charges due
associated with acquiring a prize.
