Covid has had an unprecedented impact on our industry. As we struggle to survive, I am worried about the future. An administration with 70 new elected legislators is in power, we need to educate them of our challenges. I have been your Ambassador for six years under two Regional Directors. I have worked closely with them and other AAHOA Officers. I have been recognized by AAHOA with a Chairman’s Award and a Premier Ambassador Award.

We must leverage the voice of 20,000 members to carry forward the AAHOA’s Mission, refocus on Advocacy, Fair Franchising, and Professional Development of our Members. With that belief and vision, I hereby announce my Candidacy for the AAHOA Regional Director of South-Central Texas. I will take my caring attitude and stand-up courage to the AAHOA board. I, Kiran (Kevin) Patel, humbly ask for your vote and support. Let us make a brighter future together.

Being an Ambassador for over 8 years now, I have come to appreciate what AAHOA stands for. I have been in the hospitality industry from a young age.

I see the changes that have come in our industry and the potential changes that may come if we do not stand up for what is right in our industry. I have done this. I was one of the pioneers in persuading Senator Jeff Flake out of Arizona, to support us in the frivolous drive by ADA lawsuits.

This is what AAHOA needs. They do not need someone to just fill up a position. AAHOA needs someone who will act for our Members. I strongly feel, I will do this not only in my Region, but for AAHOA as a National Organization, as well.

I have over 21 years of experience in the hospitality industry.    After moving here from Panama, I started with operating hotels and understanding the specific needs of hoteliers to be successful.  I am running a hotel in Phoenix, AZ, and helping hoteliers to get more online bookings by creating custom websites.   I am also an Ambassador for the past 10 years+ Southwest region of AAHOA.    Whether it is running hotels or building websites, my passion is helping owners in the hospitality industry reach financial success.  I also help hoteliers for getting the best pricing in local services. The goal is always looking for hoteliers to receive the best group pricing and protect their assets.
