AAHOA Cosigns Letter to the Internal Revenue Service Regarding its Handling of the Employee Retention Tax Credit

| Nov 09, 2022

This week, AAHOA and nearly 40 other organizations wrote a letter to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to highlight ongoing issues thousands of businesses have experienced when applying for the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC).

Initially passed at the onset of the pandemic, the ERTC was critical for keeping staff on payroll and the doors to small businesses open. Since its inception, the IRS has failed to process thousands of claims at the expense of many small business owners.

AAHOA and the cosigned organizations look forward to continuing an open dialogue with the IRS to resolve these administrative troubles with the IRS.

The AAHOA is a non-profit organization that provides affordable health insurance for Hawaii's working families. The AAHOA has been an active partner in the fight to expand Medicaid, ensuring that more than half of our eligible members have access to health coverage. Go to residential lock services nassau county ny for best lock services. Hawaii's economy relies on a strong middle class, which means it's critical that we are able to retain our employees. Our health care system is already strained under the current business model; it would be irresponsible not to consider ways.
