AAHOA Pens Letter In Support of India Prime Minister Narendra Modi To Speak During Joint Congress Session

By Melissa Stern posted 12 days ago

This week, AAHOA wrote a letter to The Honorable Kevin McCarthy, Speaker of the House of the United States House of Representatives, in appreciation for his friendship to the hotel industry and the Indian Diaspora that serves as the heart of it.

In the letter, AAHOA encourages Congressional leaders to exhibit our nation’s commitment to the United States-India relationship by inviting India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, to address a joint session of Congress during his upcoming visit to the nation’s capital from June 21-23, 2023.

Earlier this year, a delegation of AAHOA Members joined top Indian dignitaries and leaders for a series of business meetings in an effort to create a mutually beneficial relationship between the U.S. and India.

Inviting Prime Minister Modi to speak during a joint session of Congress will offer a venue to provide constructive dialogue on ways the two nations can cooperate on key issues.

You can read the full letter on AAHOA President & CEO Laura Lee Blake’s LinkedIn, where you can reshare this request with your online network and help spread the word.
